This 100% para-aramid knit delivers ANSI level A3 cut resistance along with moderate protection from conductive heat. The "time to pain" measure tells you if you came in contact with a surface that's 392 deg F or lower while wearing this sleeve, within 7.75 s you would feel the heat and have time to pull your arm away before getting a second degree burn.
