3M Adflo Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) has been designed to help keep a welder comfortable throughout an entire shift. When paired with new filters, this respirator battery can last up to 10 - 12 hours. Lithium-ion technology enables a quicker charge than traditional batteries, allowing it to be used at 100% capacity after about 6.5 hours of charging. The 3M Adflo Powered Air Purifying Respirator is compatible with all 3M Speedglas welding helmets that require positive air pressure and 3M Versaflo headtops. As one of the most popular respirators of its kind in the world, the 3M Adflo Powered Air Purifying Respirator is designed to provide welders a constant nominal airflow rate of approximately 205 liters per minute, regardless of the battery's charge or the particle loading of the filter. With the right type of filter and/or filter cartridge combination, the Adflo respirator helps reduce a welder's exposure against both particles and gases-all in one system. The ergonomic leather belt is extra wide around the turbo unit for additional back support.
